private childbirth classes to all of my doula clients in the comfort of a private setting. The size of the classes are small so that the focus is on you, your needs,
and the needs of your partner. Couples are able to interact with me and amongst themselves in an environment that is comfortable, warm, and
non-threatening.

Along with the topics listed above, couples will become familiar with The Six Lamaze Healthy Birth Practices
Couples participate with fun hands on activities and games, watch amazing birth videos, and learn and practice a variety of comfort measures and techniques
they will utilize in labor such as:

- Developing confidence in yourself and in the birth process
- Emotions and The Fears-Tension-Pain Cycle
- Creating positive birth memories that will last a life time
- Birth preferences/Writing a Birth Plan
- Communication and negotiation skills
- Signs and stages of labor
- Variations in labor-Not all labors start and progress the same
- Optimal Fetal Positioning to insure a shorter less painful birth
- How to handle unexpected situations.

- Labor begins on it's own
- Freedom of movement throughout labor

- No routine interventions
- Non-supine positions for labor
- NO separation of mother and baby after birth
